Taking Care Of Your Lego Minifigures

As a collector, you treasure your Star Wars Lego minifigures, and you want to keep them in tip top condition for years to come. Perhaps you intend to eventually sell your Star Wars Lego minifigures, and you want to make sure you earn top dollar. Maybe you want to pass them down to a child, niece, or nephew, and you want to keep them in pristine condition. No matter what your reasoning, you want to make sure your minifigures stay clean and in as good of shape as possible. Check out these tips for keeping your Lego minifigures looking good as new.

Store out of direct sunlight. While your Lego minifigures might look great on a display case that sits near a window, you're better off keeping them out of direct sunlight. Sunlight can fade the paint, and can cause uneven discoloration.

Try to avoid touching your Lego minifigures if you're keeping them as collectibles. Of course, if you're buying them for your kids to play and have fun with, there's no reason to keep them out of reach. If you plan on preserving your minifigures for as long as possible, however, you'll want to avoid handling them.

Lightly clean your minifigures to remove dirt and dust from time to time. Using a damp sponge or toothbrush can be a great way to safely remove any dirt, dust, and grime that has accumulated on your minifigure.
